Mission
A full-time position is available starting on October 2017 to develop reliable and automated software for decision support in the context of prenatal exploration of Magnetic Resonance Images (MRI). The project aims at image processing (reconstruction and segmentation) and visualization of fetal MRI. Well-developed computational skills, creative problem solving and excellent communication skills are required. Specifically:
· Design and implement user interface
· Wrap existing algorithms in application
· Optimize existing algorithms to produce results in clinically acceptable time frame
· Test and validate developed software
· Research on non-rigid image registration methods
· Write and systematize documentation: user guides, Software architecture description
· Plan, schedule and execute assignments within projected timelines
· Participate in feedback meetings with clinical partners
Profil
· MSc with at least 2 years of research and development experience
· Strong knowledge in C++ object oriented programming and Python scripting
· Strong knowledge in software development life-cycle (source control & versioning, continious integration, debugging, testing, documentation) and related software
· Knowledge in medical imaging and/or medical informatics
· Image processing background
· Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio as development environment
· Fluent in English
