Position and Project
A Predoctoral position is available in the Biomedical Engineering Group at the University of Valladolid (Spain). The Predoctoral researcher will focus on characterizing the electroencephalographic neural activity of the migraine disease. The position is part of the project “Análisis y correlación entre la epigenética y la actividad cerebral para evaluar el riesgo de migraña crónica y episódica en mujeres” – Comisión Europea - Programa de Cooperación Interreg V-A España – Portugal (POCTEP) 2014-2020 – Reference: 0702_MIGRAINEE_2_E. The overall objective of the project is to generate new synergies aimed at creating a network of interdisciplinary and transnational cooperation to analyze epigenetic and neuronal factors to develop migraine biomarkers in women. Qualifications
Candidates must hold a in Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics. We are seeking highly motivated and creative junior Predoctoral researchers with strong interests and experience in signal processing, machine learning and computational modelling. Strong oral and written communication skills in English are essential. Expertise in Matlab and Python programming is preferred. Previous knowledge in EEG analyses, genetics and epigenetics will be valued.
